KIM SHOFF - President / Owner of Miller Insurance Associates, Inc. since May of 2006.

Kim has been with the agency since 1982. She started her career with the agency as the receptionist and worked her way up to Vice-President in June 1997. She purchased the agency, when the founder, Gene Miller, passed away suddenly in December of 2005. She knows that the extensive knowledge and training that she received from Mr. Miller will enable her to continue on the professional and successful path that the agency has been on since its inception in 1978. Kim is married, has 3 children and is a lifetime resident of Newville.

LORI CHAMBERLIN - Claims Manager, CSR and Sales Associate with Miller Insurance since 1995.

She has been in the insurance business since 1982. Lori personally reports and follows the progress of each claim and makes sure that the customer is getting the best possible service from our many carriers. Claim time can be stressful for our clients and our goal is to put them at ease and reassure them that we are there for them. Lori also sells and provides customer service on the Personal Lines side.

ALLISON SHOFF - Receptionist with Miller Insurance since May 2006.

Allison is the agency’s first contact person. She is also the daughter of the owner, Kim Shoff. This is Allison’s first occupation in the insurance industry and hopes to continue in the field and eventually become an agent. Allison is a 2005 graduate of Big Spring High School and a recent graduate from Computer Learning Network in Mechanicsburg with a degree in Massage Therapy. Allison’s prior waitressing experience has helped her understand that the customer is always first and is dedicated to achieving 100% satisfaction for the long-time and new customers of Miller Insurance Associates.

THOMAS LANE - Sales Associate joined Miller Insurance Associates in September of 2006.

Tom heads up the Health Insurance division of the agency and has prior experience. He specializes in Health, Life & Disability Insurance for Groups, Individuals and Medicare eligible beneficiaries. He also has expertise in the HSA and HRA Tax preferred plans, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans. Tom resides in York, PA and is married and has 2 children.

Janet Skolka - Sales Associate joined Miller Insurance Associates in October of 2007.

Janet Skolka joined Miller Insurance Associates in October of 2007. Janet has 5 years experience in the insurance industry and enjoys providing outstanding customer service to her clients. Her background includes 15 years of analyzing risks in commercial lending which gives her a solid foundation for understanding insurance risk. By listening carefully to an individual's needs and goals, she can match insurance products to help clients manage life's risks. Janet is a graduate of Gettysburg College and the Penn State MBA program. She resides in Hampden Township with her husband and two children.

Ruth Ann Wenrich - CISR, CPIW, Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative joined Miller Insurance Associates in April of 2008.

Ruth Ann began her career in the insurance industry in 1985 as a Customer Service Representative at a local insurance agency servicing the Carlisle community. More recently she was a Broker for a nationwide wholesale insurance brokerage group where she secured markets for hard to place commercial insurance risks throughout PA and the east coast. Ruth Ann takes pride in providing prompt, individualized risk solutions for her clients. She and her husband reside in Carlisle.

A Tribute To Gene Miller

Gene Miller started his own independent agency (later named Miller Insurance Associates, Inc.) in 1978 after returning to the Carlisle area. Prior to his return to Carlisle, he was a state manager for the Federal Kemper Insurance Companies in Ohio.

Gene was a 1961 graduate of Carlisle High School and a 1965 graduate of Penn State University. He was a respected pillar of the community and was looked upon as a successful and caring businessman. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him.
